We highly recommend staying at the Pontchartrain Hotel for your convenience. We will be escorting guests to the dinner on Friday night from the hotel (it’s a very short walk). On Saturday, we’ve arranged for a bus to provide transportation to/from the hotel and Superior Grill. The brunch on Sunday is at the rooftop bar within the hotel.
If you’d like to make other hotel accommodations, we suggest staying at a hotel on St. Charles Ave. or anywhere in “the box,” which is from the parade route (in purple) to the river. Getting in and out “the box” can be somewhat of a hassle when the parades are rolling Friday-Sunday. It is also important to note that the streetcar shuts down about 2 hours before the parades start, so a hotel in walking distance to the events would also be recommended.
